Dear Readers,

I would like to welcome you to the new CIP Report website. As of August 2015, the CIP Report, official publication of the Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security (CIP/HS), will be delivered as a fully digital resource with continuous updates provided on a rolling basis. By changing to this new format, we are working to ensure that you have easier access to our cutting-edge articles and research provided by experts from across the field of critical infrastructure. Individual articles will now be searchable in your browser, and we will be publishing articles throughout each month. For those readers who still wish to receive a digest at the end of the month, we will continue to send compiled digests by e-mail to our subscriber list as we have always done.

In addition to our scholarly articles, we will be using our new format to provide additional content in the form of brief analyses from CIP/HS staff on the latest news and headlines relating to vital critical infrastructure topics. These posts will be available in the “In the News” section, which can be found here or by clicking “In the News” under “The CIP Report” in the menu above.

As part of this update we have revised our submission guidelines for the CIP Report. These new guidelines can be found here. We will be continuing to publish articles based on monthly focus topics, which will be posted on the topics calendar available here. If you are interested in writing for the CIP Report, please consult these pages and contact Christie Jones or Dennis Pitman with your questions and drafts.

As we continue to refine the new look and format of the CIP Report, we welcome suggestions and feedback from readers for ways to improve the content and delivery of this valuable information. If you have comments or suggestions, please send them to us through the “Contact Us” form available here.

We look forward to continuing to provide reliable, insightful perspectives from the critical infrastructure community. If you are already a subscriber, thank you for your continued support of the CIP Report. If you are not yet a subscriber and would like to receive updates regarding the CIP Report or other CIP/HS new, you can join our mailing list here or follow us on social media through the links at the bottom of the page.

Thank you very much for visiting the new CIP Report.

Respectfully,

Mark Troutman
Director, CIP/HS
