Christie Jones currently serves as Education Program Manager for the Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security. She is responsible for the development of the Center’s education programs and led the Critical Infrastructure Higher Education Initiative, a partnership between the Center and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Prior to joining the Center in 2014, Ms. Jones held research and program management positions with organizations such as the National Commission on the Structure of the Air Force, the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction, and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She is earning her doctoral degree at the School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution, George Mason University, where she also earned her Master of Science degree in Peace Operations Policy. Ms. Jones received her undergraduate degree from Bennett College.
