Christie R. Jones is the Education Program Manager for the Center for Infrastructure Protection and Homeland Security. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the Center’s higher education programs and leads the Critical Infrastructure Higher Education Initiative, a partnership between the Center and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Infrastructure Protection.
Prior to joining the Center in 2014, Ms. Jones served as an analyst with the National Commission on the Structure of the Air Force and as a researcher with the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction. She has also held positions with the National Human Trafficking Resource Center and the National Academy of Sciences. Ms. Jones earned her Master of Science degree in Peace Operations Policy from George Mason University and her undergraduate degree from Bennett College.
Fluent in Spanish and French, Ms. Jones has lived in Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
