From March 31, 2016, Kojo Nnamdi of WAMU 88.5 public radio in Washington, DC:

“MedStar Health, a network that includes 10 hospitals and dozens of medical offices in the D.C. and Baltimore regions, recently took key elements of its medical system offline after hackers penetrated its network. The attack created a number of challenging situations for doctors and nurses, and raised concerns about the security of online health data. We discuss the MedStar Health data attack and the state of cybersecurity in our doctors’ offices and hospitals.”
