From Our Partners – TISP 2016 Critical Infrastructure Symposium Call for Papers

Leaders from industry, government and academia are invited to participate in the 2016 Critical Infrastructure Symposium (CIS) by submitting an abstract of a presentation and/or paper.

Now in its seventh year, CIS continues to showcase innovative research and best practices, and explore new challenges for building a more resilient and sustainable infrastructure. The Symposium is a collaborative learning community of students and professionals engaged in developing the next generation of critical infrastructure security and resilience leaders, technologies, strategies and solutions.

The 2016 CIS is built around the theme, “Resilience: An Infrastructure, Social and Economic Imperative.” The technical program will include 12 sessions, each with up to four presenters from inter-related disciplines across the resilience community. Papers and presentations are solicited for these topics:

  • Social and Economic Resilience
  • Design Philosophies for 22nd Century Design
  • Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience Education
  • Impacts of 3D Printing on Infrastructure
  • Evolution of the 21st Century Terrorist Threat
  • Concurrent Hazards Analysis
  • Electrical Power Resilience
  • Transportation Resilience

Authors also are encouraged to submit papers and presentations on their unique
infrastructure research and projects.
