Session on Internet Governance and Security at the 2006 RDX Workshop

September 21-22, 2006
Ottawa, Canada

The 2006 Research & Development Exchange (RDX) Workshop is a special event conducted periodically by the Industry Executive Subcommittee's Research and Development Task Force (RDTF) of the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) to stimulate and facilitate a dialogue among industry, government, and academia on emerging security technology research and development (R&D) issues.

The seventh workshop was held in Ottawa, Canada, on September 21 and 22, 2006. Under the title International Collaboration on Cyber Security R&D: Leveraging Global Partnerships for the Security of Free Nations and All Sector Preparedness and Response , five thematic sessions were held. The session on International Internet Governance was based on a white paper by CIPP Senior Research Associate Christine Pommerening, who also participated in the workshop.
